Introduction to Modern Tunneling Technology: Modern Tunneling Technology bimonthly (formerly World Tunnel and Selected Tunneling Article Translations), founded in 1964, is a domestic and foreign public professional journal. The journal is managed by Ministry of Railways of China and jointly sponsored by China Railway Southwest Research Institute (Formerly China Railway Academy Southwest Branch) and Tunneling and Underground Engineering Branch of China Civil Engineering Society. The journal is a source journal of China Science and Technology Papers (the core Journal of China Science and Technology), a journal of China Journal Full-text database and a source journal of China Academic Journal Comprehensive Evaluation Database. During the 40 years since foundation, the journal has made outstanding contributions to promote the professional technical progress of the tunneling and underground engineering in China.
